The original Renaissance fortress is now a cultural monument owned by the municipality.
The three-winged, one-storey building is now used for the needs of the Municipal Office, there is also a library, a mirror hall, a ceremonial hall, a photo studio, a model workshop and one apartment. The castle is open to the public every year during the Jeníkov pilgrimage, but tours are available at any time of the year by prior arrangement with the mayor.
The left wing of the castle is used for the RAF Museum exhibition.
