Bike tour for children full of playgrounds

A one-day cycling trip suitable for the youngest children will start on Skalka on a modern cycle path. If you come to Jihlava by car, you can leave it at the P+R parking lot in Žižkova Street (near the cemetery) and from there take your bike down the hill around the garages. At the creek and gardens we turn left and continue along the cycle path, pass again around the garages until we get to the road, from which after about 100 meters we turn right, cross the road and thus get to the start of the trip to Skalka.

From Skalka we go along a beautiful cycle path. We can stop at the playground with a lot of climbing frames or continue along cycle path no. 16 around the City Park shopping center about 1.5 km to the children's traffic playground. There we give the children some time to explore all the paths and road signs and then we can continue further towards the zoo. We drive through the Heulos Forest Park overlooking the ZOO on the right side and soon we get to another playground at the amphitheater. Let's give the children a little fun again and then continue along the cycle path further along the Jihlávka River. The cycle path then leads us across the river past the SK Jihlava sports hall, after which we turn left along Okružní Street. We will reach the traffic lights, where we will cross the road and along the bridge U Jánů with a reminder of the existence of the railway in Jihlava (left tracks) we will get to the right bank of the Jihlava River. Turn sharply left on the bridge and follow the marked cycle path to robinson family park. If we have enough time and maybe the weather is not good for us, let's give the children a break in this entertainment center. Or at least visit Café Budík with them. We got to the end of the cycling trip, after crossing the bridge for pedestrians and cyclists over the Jihlava River and then turning right, we have already successfully reached the sports and relaxation center Český mlýn. Here the children will definitely want to stay for some time, play on the next playground, use the climbing frames, ride a bike along a number of trails, maybe try a pump track where you can ride in such a way that you do not even have to pedal, movement is maintained by rocking on the bike.

To return with children on a bike to the car at the start of the trip, we recommend returning with the same comfortable way back.
