The dominant feature of Rokštejn Castle near Brtnice in the Jihlava region is a 17-metre high prismatic tower.

The Rokštejn Castle with the remains of two palaces and a massive prismatic tower towers above the valley of the Brtnice River.

The castle can be reached on foot, by bicycle or cross-country skiing. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations. From Brtnice you can follow the Brtnice Nature Trail to the cultural promenade, an 8 km walk through the picturesque valley along the Brtnice River. You can get here comfortably by bike along cycle route No. 26.

Tourists can take guided tours of the castle grounds and, in good weather, climb the tower.

A self-service refreshment chest is located directly in the castle.
