Brtnice Castle, the dominant feature of the town of the same name in the Jihlava region.

The Brtnice Castle, originally the seat of the Wallenstein and Collalts, also known as the Moravian Hradčany, is located in the picturesque town of Brtnice, 12 km from the regional town of Jihlava. It is a large area where you can see a unique symbiosis of castle buildings and fortifications of the Gothic castle, which preceded the castle in development. The building of the castle is somewhat devastated. The grounds are surrounded by a large English park with a pond and the Temple of Diana.

You can use one of the tour routes - Interiors of the Collalts and Wallensteins, Not only history and art under the Collalts.

If you love adrenaline, play the local escape game Reliquie.

Brtnice Castle is the venue of the spectacular Brtnice Anvil Festival (16-18 June 2023), which brings together blacksmiths and lovers of this craft not only from our country but also from abroad.

During the summer season you can enjoy an unusual experience in the form of concerts held in the castle. The Brtnice Chateau Association is organizing the 2nd year of the ArtBrtnice music festival from 23 June to 25 June.
