The museum in Luky nad Jihlavou is a small, cosy regional museum offering a glimpse of the times of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers and their families.
The museum offers the opportunity to see quite ordinary things, once common to everyone, but today mostly unnecessary, impractical and often completely forgotten and sidelined.Such a butter churn of various types and designs, a school slate table, cups and plates from pilgrimages and fairs, highlander costumes, scarves, a cradle, a pram or a clay potty, would probably be hidden by few of the descendants. Let alone an old kitchen, including a tiled stove, beautifully embroidered "cookbooks" for the wall, charcoal irons, rosaries, spittoons and much more. There are also relics of the time - the drum of the village drummer, the baton of the constable, firemen's tools, hunting decoys and other things of the last castle lord Antonín Widmann - Sedlnický, including his family tree. The installation of the Iouka railway station's ticket office certainly deserves attention.
