The extraordinary acoustics of the space and the high-quality church organ enhance the experience of sacred music concerts.

The typical Baroque building contains a large ceiling fresco by Karel Töpper and an interesting illusory altar by Adam Lauterer, Josef Kramolin and František Moldinger. The impressive atmosphere of the interior is underlined by the stucco decoration.

The pride of the church is a unique Gothic sculpture - Pieta from the end of the 14th century, which is one of the most beautiful Czech Madonnas.

The church is a part of a large Jesuit complex, which was gradually built in the corner of the square on the site of 23 townhouses. The church is adjoined on the north side by a large Jesuit college building, and the eastern part is enclosed by the former gymnasium building. The building now houses the library and the main entrance to the Jihlava underground.
