The modern and beautiful spaces of this historic building offer a variety of uses.

In addition to the restaurant with a capacity of 140 people, there is also the D Club, Bistro u Tří čepic. Dělnický dům Jihlava also offers rental of commercial premises for corporate events, parties, briefings, etc.

Dělnický dům has a very rich history. It was inaugurated on November 15, 1869 as a splendid Neo-Renaissance hotel Czap on the site of the old inn Na Holubníku. The hotel was named after its builder, the wealthy Jihlava businessman F. G. Czap. It boasted the largest ballroom in the town, and many concerts, balls and theatre performances were held there. The composer Gustav Mahler performed here as a student. The hotel offered 21 heated rooms with tiled stoves, a large hall and an inn. The hotel gradually changed its name, first to Morawetz, then to Jihlava Court and in 1940 the German Court was established here. After 1945 the building belonged to the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, which created the Jihlava Worker's House, and in the 1950s it housed the House of Enlightenment, several offices, a ceremonial hall and a restaurant. The restaurant served until 1993, when the disastrous condition of the building made it impossible to continue functioning. After a successful reconstruction, the building is once again shining with newness and the festive hall once again invites to dance and listen.
